Beheld D'Kand
Guides and community for parents raising children whose story began on another continent.
About Beheld D'Kand
Where the name comes from
D'Kand means "the child" in Luxembourgish, my husband's language. I'm from Asia. Our child came from somewhere else entirely.
Three places, one family. Beheld D'Kand, "behold the child," is what this journey has felt like from the start: learning to truly see a child who arrived from a different continent, a different culture, a different story than either of ours, and building a family across all of that distance.
Understand why children engage, lose focus, and respond differently to learning environments.
Insights into how different learning environments affect stability, confidence, and progress.
Clear and realistic ways to support your child’s development at home.
